Proof that I'll never be a professional digital artist no matter what tools you give me.
Previous Stonehenge
May, 1990, Stonehenge, EnglandTry as I might, I couldn't find a hinge anywhere. This shot represents about as good of a one as you can get now. Authorities have roped off the giant stones, so it's no longer possible to go paint or carve your initials like in the good old days. Note that my shot has none of the cool lightening effects of the readily-available Stonehenge postcards, but instead captures the subtle mystery of these very big, very gray ROCKS. How this got to be a major tourist attraction I have no idea, but that it is should tell you something about the British tourism industry.
I visited England as part of the University of Portland's London Program which, aside from the academic portion, was a very worthwhile experience. It also led directly to my odyssey on mainland Europe where I slept in trains and subsisted on bread and water for days at a time.
