Graphic evidence of dysfunction. A slide show of my life.
Proof I'll never be a professional artist no matter what tools you give me.

May 19, 2002, Pacific City, OregonI last looked out to sea from this vantage point on October 21, 1990, and in the atmosphere of sand, sea, and windy mist, asked God for guidance. I prayed not a prayer of despair, for that emotion had passed, but of longing, hope, and faith. Like I had at the Monparnasse in Paris, I ascended in an attempt to somehow hold life at arm's length and view it anew. It was about this experience I wrote part one of a song called Grace ("It's been two years and a day since my love went away/And now I stand on these windswept sands alone"). It was also during this fall 1990 retreat that I met Erin, and she was even with me on this hill all those years ago.

As one might expect, on my 2002 trip to the dune my prayer was one of thanksgiving.
