May 17, 2002, Pacific City, Oregon—The beauty of this scene had the digital camera contingent (Joe, Dennis, and I) of the Reach the Beach group snapping images like crazy. I think I took 29 shots alone, and good luck picking the best of them because they all look fantastic. (And not because I'm some latter-day Ansel Adams, either. This kind of natural magnificence is tough to mess up.)
This shot was taken from the back patio of the beach house we rented, and I confess that I could stand to own a place that has a view like this.
