October 6, 2001, Kirkland, Washington—Helana and her son Keith swirl about the Shumway Mansion dance floor at her wedding reception. (I swirled the background in Photoshop.) I talk, chat electronically, or email Helana fairly regularly, but I'd not seen her (and looking so radiant too!) in awhile. And last time I saw Keith, I don't think he was yet walking, let alone cutting the rug with his mom.
