Introduction
Welcome to my online genealogy work. This area exists for the easy, quick, and inexpensive distribution of my genealogical efforts. My current area of research centers around my great grandfather, Dr. Asa Lee Davison, but I'm happy to share information about my other lines as well. If you'd like to explore a possible connection or ask a genealogy question, by all means email me.
Although I will be putting a number of different types of reports online, it is also fairly simple to peruse my database by looking through the Web Cards. Because these cards were automatically generated by my genealogy program (the excellent Reunion 6), they use a different navigation system than the rest of Davison Online. As a consequence, the Web Cards open in their own browser window.
[Update of 3/7/00: I've delayed the implementation of the Web Cards because of limited server space. The Web Cards take almost 25 MB of space, and currently I simply don't have that much to spare.]
Due to privacy concerns, my online genealogy material deals primarily with the deceased (who can hardly have privacy concerns now!). All living relations are automatically given a "private" designation and personal information is restricted. For someone attempting to find a common ancestor, this should in no way impede those efforts.
