Graphic evidence of dysfunction. A slide show of my life.Digital Art
Proof that I'll never be a professional digital artist no matter what tools you give me.

May 6, 2001, Salem, OregonI must confess that this was more a test of the Canon S300's photo stitching capabilities than anything else. In that regard, the gadget passed with flying colors. This panorama was easy to shoot in the camera and Canon's PhotoStitch software assembled everything automatically. The only downside is that the camera only had 8 MB of memory at the time, so I wasn't able to get a 360 degree panorama. (I've resolved this by getting a 128 MB card.)
Since this is a QuickTime VR, you can click on the image (once loaded) then scroll through the image using the arrow keys and zoom in and out using the Shift and Control keys. At some point I'll experiment with QuickTime Cubic VR which adds an up and a down, but for now this is a good example of what can be accomplished with a Canon digital camera, a Mac, and very little effort.
