October 7, 2000, Salem, Oregon—This is the small, mighty band of warriors who successfully moved Erin and me into our new home. In some cases, this was so far beyond the call of duty as to be ridiculous: Both Dave and Dennis, for example, participated in all three of our moves within a six month period. (For the record, the moves were from Mountain View, California to Clackamas, Oregon; from Clackmas to an apartment in Salem, Oregon; and from that apartment to our house.)
