Circa 1997 in Mountain View, California—No, no. Not David Letterman. Letterman from The Electric Company. (Pulling the question mark off of his chest, Letterman changes "I'm eating your dinner" into "I'm eating your dinner? Hahahaha." Well, I always thought Spiderman was the best part of that show anyway.)
Okay, actually it's not Letterman, it's my brother Bret, former ASUP student senator at the University of Portland (as was I), wearing one of the weird t-shirts they gave us. Here, Bret and Erin give a big grin for the camera whilst eating chips in the kitchen of our Mountain View apartment. Bret was good enough to make the 12 hour roadtrip down from Portland to Mountain View several times probably because the lure of free chips and a warm bed proved too overpowering. Glad it did, because we always ended up having a great time.
